In this context, the role of the Hospitality & Food Experience Manager is essential to promote and manage an integrated, experiential, and sustainable tourism offer that represents the perfect fusion between hospitality and food service, taste culture, and guest well-being. The course has a total duration of 1800 hours, distributed over two academic years and structured as follows:
- 1080 hours dedicated to classroom-based lab teaching, case studies in labs and/or workplace contexts, seminars, educational visits, and project work;
- 720 hours of internship activities in professional environments.
The daily schedule will be determined based on the operational program and may vary from 5 to 8 hours per day.
Attendance is mandatory for at least 80% of the training activities. Failure to meet this requirement will result in exclusion from the final exam, which will be conducted in accordance with the procedures established by the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit.
Upon completion of the program, and after passing the final exams and evaluations, participants will be awarded the Specialization Diploma in Applied Technologies, EQF Level 5 (European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning).
The diploma is issued by the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit together with the Europass Diploma Supplement. It is valid throughout the national territory and recognized for access to public competitions.
Where applicable, and depending on the specific area of study, students will acquire the competencies required to take certification exams for the following:
- Certifications for the use of industry-specific software
- English and second foreign language certifications according to the CEFR levels (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- Certifications related to occupational health and safety
- HACCP Certification
- Advanced EIPASS certification, upon passing the exam (ITS acts as a certifying body)
The ITS program is also valid for participation in ITP (Technical and Practical Teacher) competitions starting from 2025 and for roles in public administration.
